SUPPORT
OWNER SPOTLIGHT Meet Joe Eady of Fashion City—a warm and wonderful tailor who’s been a cherished presence on 145th Street for over 50 years. Born in Harlem and a graduate of Central Needle Trades High School, Joe began his career in the Garment District, though not in men’s tailoring as he had hoped. That detour inspired him to pursue higher education at Hampton Institute. In 1964, he followed his passion and opened his very own tailoring shop right here in the neighborhood, where he’s been serving the community with skill and heart ever since.
